Join the Rav and Karen, and thousands of students from around the world, for this year’s Rosh Hashanah connection in Florida. This holiday is a two-day opening in the kabbalistic calendar, allowing you the ability to plant your field of dreams for the entire year to come.
Most people think Rosh Hashanah is the New Year, but it actually occurs in the seventh month of the astrological cycle.
Rosh means ‘head’, and Hashanah means ‘the year.’ A more accurate definition is head of the year, or seed of the year. Kabbalah explains the first 6 months of the year is when you are planting ‘seeds.’ These seeds are your actions, words, and thoughts. The second half of the year is harvest time.
Rosh Hashanah is the two-day interval between these two time periods, a break before cause goes into effect, allowing you to create the reality you want by bringing in the Creator’s Light at the beginning.
Just as a healthy apple seed begets a healthy apple tree, the consciousness and actions you plant on Rosh Hashanah determine how your dreams will manifest in the year to come.
There’s a voice inside all of us that says we don’t matter, we don’t count, and we can’t help. But we need to know that this is the same voice that has kept the world mired in pain and suffering throughout the history of civilization.
The Rav and I are asking everyone to pay attention to what really matters this year. Rosh Hashanah is the beginning of the beginning for all of us. It is the birth of humanity, where we all began. And it’s where we can replant the seed of our lives and of our world. Each one of us is a tiny seed on the scale, but we never know who is going to be the last one to tip the scales in our favor.
More than ever we see, both on the news and in our neighborhoods, that humanity is desperate for a new direction. Let us provide that direction, let us put an end to the chaos, let us fulfill that basic human need for tolerance and love and compassion, first towards one another, and then to everyone around the world.
It does not matter where we come from or where we have been. What does matter is that we all come together this Rosh Hashanah, for there is power in numbers. Stand up and be counted. Join us this year for the Rosh Hashanah connection in Florida. United we stand, divided we fall.
All our Love,
>
The Rav & Karen

Volunteering at the holidays is a lot of fun and a great way to get involved behind the scenes. Helping in the bookstore, greeting new students, participating in any number of functions during the holiday (even just for an hour) is a great way to experience what this holiday is all about.
To get involved, register at teamkabbalah.com. You will be asked about your volunteer preferences, as well as invited to upcoming volunteer training sessions.
Pairs new students with more experienced ones so that:
Parking at the Westin Diplomat is $20.00 per day for self-parking and $24.00 per day for valet parking.
Parking at the Crowne Plaza is $15.00 per day for self-parking and $18.00 per day for valet parking.
